A notable public real estate management company in Orange County is looking for a driven and experienced Accounting Manager to join their Operations team. In this role you will lead systems implementation, perform portfolio-related accounting, work closely with the Corporate team, and coordinate with third-party investors. Job Duties:

  • Lead ERP system implementation and other operational projects
  • Perform day-to-day portfolio and property level accounting, and CAM reconciliations
  • Work closely with the Corporate team, and report to the Controller
  • Coordinate with third-party partners
  • Perform month-end close, reconciliations, analyses, SEC and bank reporting
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors
  • Other ad-hoc accounting and finance projects and tasks
Required Skills:
  •      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  •      CPA/MBA a plus
  •      3 - 6+ years of relevant experience within real estate and/or REIT
  •      Experience with month-end close, CAM reconciliations, and coordinating with external stakeholders
  •      Ability to meet tight deadlines while working independently
  •      Strong Excel Skills; familiarity with MRI and/or Blackline
  •      Driven personality with ability to learn quickly, multi-task and take on new responsibilities
